I am also currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) at the University of Sydney.

I trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I’m a certified sub-specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (CREI) – a qualification awarded after an additional three years of training.

How I Can Help

I provide the highest quality care tailored to meet your personal health needs. With a range of fertility treatments and preservation methods, my mission is to give you the best possible chance of falling pregnant.

As a fertility specialist in Sydney, I work with individuals and couples with varied experiences, medical histories and genetic backgrounds. No matter what approach is right for you and your partner, I’ll provide clear, evidence-based information to give you an informed view of the best way forward for your situation.

Fertility

Understanding the fertility of both you and your partner is vital to a successful pregnancy. Both men and women experience a range of fertility problems and I’m here to help you understand your body and work towards your fertility goals.

Egg freezing

Egg freezing is simply storing a woman’s unfertilised eggs to allow her to try to conceive when she is ready. Egg freezing is a great way to preserve the possibility of fertility for women who are not in a position to become pregnant straight away or whose fertility is at risk for medical reasons such as cancer treatment.

Recurrent pregnancy loss

Losing a baby at any stage of pregnancy can be absolutely heartbreaking. Even at an early gestation parents are already busy preparing for a new life with their baby. Suddenly and unexpectedly, their plans come to an end.

The language and terms used to describe the many ways pregnancies can end can be distressing and hard to hear. As your Sydney fertility doctor, it is my job to ensure you have the emotional support and information you need to take on your best chance to welcome a child into your family.

Genetic testing

Our fertility doctors in Sydney will provide written information on screening for genetic conditions (carrier screening) before your appointment. It will also be discussed in detail at your visit. In situations where both of you are found to be carriers for the same genetic condition, we will discuss options such as genetic screening of embryos to see if they are affected or not.

Some couples are already aware that they carry a genetic condition that can be passed onto their child. In this situation, we will discuss options such as genetic screening of embryos to see if they are affected or not.

Second opinion & complex fertility

Finding a fertility doctor in Sydney who is the right fit for you is very important when it comes to fertility treatment because we’re dealing with what can be an emotionally challenging and physically tiring time of life. You are well within your rights to research and shop around for your ideal fertility doctor — especially when it comes to complex fertility issues.

Fertility surgery

Following your initial testing and assessment, I may recommend surgery. This could be to further investigate the cause of infertility or to overcome the problems making it difficult for you to conceive. If this is determined to be the best course of action, I will be with you every step of the way to help you learn more about your body and discover what options are available for you.

Donation and surrogacy

I have a supportive and inclusive treatment program for patients using donated eggs or sperm and/or considering a surrogate. I have existing partnerships with sperm and egg banks but also support patients who are using their own known donors. As an experienced Sydney fertility expert, I can help you on your journey with donation or surrogacy with all the emotional and medical support that entails the process.

IVF

There is more than one way to make a baby and if IVF is the treatment you need, I am here to walk you through the process. From egg and sperm collection to the ongoing support, we’re in this together.
